Richard Kostelanetz
was born to Boris Kostelanetz and Ethel Cory and is the nephew of the
composer Andre Kostelanetz. After a lifetime in Manhattan and
thirty-five years in its SoHo district, he has moved his studio
christened Wordship to Ridgewood-SoHo, as he calls it, in Far-East
Artists' Bushwick. He never remarried. He is a passionate defender of
the avant-garde.
